FedEx has been awarded the Elite Business Partner Award in recognition of its contribution to Hong Kong Customs and Excise
Recognize FedEx's continuous commitment to providing high-quality services and assist Hong Kong Customs in complying with regulations during customs clearance
FedEx Express (FedEx), a subsidiary of FedEx Corp. (NYSE: FDX) and one of the world’s largest express transportation companies, has been awarded the Elite Enterprise Partnership Award by the HKSAR Customs and Excise Department for the second consecutive year. The award recognizes FedEx for its proactive co-operation and contributions to Hong Kong Customs.
This award highlights the close co-operation and connection between Customs and different sectors of the logistics industry, strengthening the role of Hong Kong as an international transport and logistics hub.
“We are honored to be recognized once again with the Elite Enterprise Partnership Award. It is a testament to the company’s commitment to delivering outstanding services for our valued customers,” said Anthony Leung, managing director, Hong Kong and Macau of FedEx Express. “We have been constantly innovating our products and services to adapt to the changing trade facilitation measures that help foster the city’s economic development. Moving forward, we will continue to collaborate closely with Hong Kong Customs to support the mission of safeguarding Hong Kong’s gate and facilitating legitimate trade, while also reinforcing Hong Kong as an international hub for transportation and logistics.”
FedEx has been working with different partners to support e-commerce and cross-border trade. The company has been accredited as an Authorized Economic Tier 2 Operator (AEO) in Hong Kong since 2014, which allows FedEx to enjoy appropriate incentives including reduced inspections and prioritized customs clearance, and cover areas including premises, cargo and business partners’ securities that help deliver fast and reliable services to customers while complying with applicable rules and regulations in the markets.
